Well I just can’t help myself, so here it is! Part 2! Enjoy. :)

When I went out to shoot Katie and Kyle’s engagement session last April, I didn’t know I’d be photographing their wedding. After they saw their photos they asked me to document their big day. I couldn’t have been more thrilled!
On September 3, 2011 Katie and Kyle tied the knot at the gorgeous Yellow Gold Farm in Albany. The weather was amazing, the people were wonderful, and the whole day was beautiful. I was so thankful to have my sister, Megan, along to second shoot her first wedding with me! She did a great job.
Katie and Kyle: Thank you for asking me to be a part of your wedding day. I truly had a blast, and as a result have A LOT of photos to share with you. Enjoy Part 1. :)

Cera approached me over a year ago about taking photos for her wedding reception. Her and her now-husband Jeremy were getting married in Hawaii the week before the reception, but they still wanted to celebrate with their extended family and friends. She even had a date ready for me to request off of work 9 months in advance. Gotta love a bride-to-be who’s on top of things!
The reception was at Mount Pisgah here in Eugene. I’ve lived here for almost 5 years now and had never been there before a few months ago. It’s GORGEOUS! Huge oak trees, open fields with tall grass, and tons of purple flowers. AMAZING.
What was also amazing was how great Jeremy and Cera are together. As is usual with celebrations like this, a few things weren’t going exactly ideally as they were setting up a few hours before the reception was to start. Instead of running around in a frantic, stress-induced haze (as I’ve seen many times before) Cera and Jeremy just let the small stuff slide and commited to just enjoying their day. I admire this.
Cera and Jeremy - you were amazing to work with. Really! You were so relaxed and so fun. I hope you love the photos!

My best friend is getting married in a month. Just typing that out is surreal! I’ve known Elizabeth for 20 of my 23 years on this planet and we’re like sisters. I can’t tell you how many times over the years we discussed what our weddings would be like and what outlandish fairytale things our future husbands would do for us. Now we’ve graduated from imaginary boyfriends who pour our “wine” (juice squeezes) into fancy glasses in her backyard to being grown women with real relationships, and we’ve made that transformation together.
Liz is now embarking on the next big stage in life and I couldn’t be happier for her. She’s got a man who loves her and treats her amazingly. Oh, and those juice squeezes in the fancy cups? John took it a step further by setting up a tent in their living room, prepared a romantic dinner with flowers and candles, and even had the fixings for s’mores ready at hand! They had a camp-out in their living room. How’s that for fairytale treatment we dreamed of as girls?
I love you Liz! I’m thrilled to be celebrating the fact that you found your “Colby” - I’m also thrilled that he’s made of more then fabric and fleece. ;o)

Here’s a screenshot of the bachelorette party invitation and RSVP website I made using Showit. I love designing things like this. :)

You may remember Mandy and Zach from their weddings photos I posted last month. While I was in Medford this weekend we shot a super fun post-wedding session. These two are so much fun to work with and I’m happy we got the opportunity to get some sillier photos. :)

Mandy and I were friends in high school, so when she asked me to photograph her wedding almost 2 years ago I was thrilled! The wedding was gorgeous, and the only hiccups throughout the day were two minor shoe issues, and Mandy having to be cut out of her shirt so as to not ruin her hair (which was quite funny to watch!)
I took an obscene amount of photos, but that’s just a testament to how beautiful the wedding was! Mandy and her bridesmaids got ready in the Crystal Room in the Ashland Springs Hotel and then we went to Lithia park for Mandy and Zach’s one-on-one first look photos. The ceremony and reception were at a gorgeous estate!
I want to give a huge thanks to Zach and Mandy for inviting me into their special day. It was such a lovely, relaxed wedding and I wish you two a lifetime of happiness!
More photos from this wedding can be found on my YellowEleven Facebook page.

I want to thank Greg and Amy again for asking me to snap some shots at their wedding! This was by far one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever been to and I’m so happy the two of you found each other! I hope you like the photos. :)
More photos from Greg and Amy’s wedding can be seen on my YellowEleven facebook page.

My uncle, Greg, got married on Monday to his wonderful bride, Amy! It was summer solstice and also happened to be my parent’s 30th wedding anniversary! Here are a few photos from their wedding - more to come later. :)

A little teaser from Many and Zach’s beautiful wedding Saturday. More to come later!

I have been best friends with Elizabeth since we were 3 years old! We’ve talked about weddings and husbands since we were little girls, and I’m honored to have been able to do their engagement pictures!
The weather was a little yucky, and winter in Oregon isn’t the prettiest time for outdoor photos, but I think we did alright regardless! ;)
I love you guys, congratulations!

Just the kiddos. :)
The photo editing is taking me way longer than I anticipated… I feel bad that I’m taking so long! Better to be thorough than to be quick, I suppose. Anyway, I’m happy with these photos! I tried a new photo editing technique on them.

It’s now 3:00am and after 5 hours of on and off editing I’m finished editing the photos I took for Kala’s wedding shower.
I am pleased with the photos for the most part. My two discrepancies are as follows:
Regardless, I am still pleased. The actualy wedding will be outdoors in a vineyard with late afternoon lighting (my favorite) and I WON’T forget my tripod.
So here they are for your viewing pleasure. If you’d like to see larger versions, or if you’re just feeling friendly, feel free to visit my Facebook page.

These are form Kala’s wedding shower today. There will be many more where this came from…
